Yes we've given him bendaryl but never tried zrtec. Bendaryl helps him especially with the congestion in the mornings but he still itches and scratches a lot. He's last bad flare up we believe was do to a food trial we tried. Dick Van Patton's duck and sweet potato seemed to make him worse and he developed a bad yeast infection in his ears. He really hasn't taken to the two or three Dick Van Patton formulas. He's now taking his last of the Temaril-P and had been taking other meds to help him. As of now, he's great but as soon as the Temaril-P wears off he will probably start getting worse. This is the second time on the steroid and I hope it's the last. We do know he's definitely allergic to grass which is disheartening since he loves to play in the grass. Hopefully the blood test will come back soon and we'll be able to help my buddy out.
