So, I recieved this email on Monday:
Hello rescues, "Titus is a purebred American Bulldog, very good looking boy, 110 lbs., 3 years old, already neutered, said to be OK w/other dogs as long as they're not dominant (but I don't know if he has been around any small dogs), doing better on leash now, acted out a little the first couple of days after his former owner left him here but has calmed down and settled in." So, thru a series of phone calls and emails, I managed to talk some hillbilly animal control officer out of euthanizing this dog this morning. Now, again, working with Preston County Humane Society and some friends, the transport process has been started and he should be arriving no later than Monday. But, the point of this post is, that I have some very kind words for a few folks in this process: The Bulldog Rescue Farm Baltimore Md and The Preston County Humane Society are AWESOME! Very hard working dedicated people, so, I'm giving them a big thumbs up. And hopefully, no later than Monday, I will have a fabulous update on this big boy... TITUS

Awww...he reminds me of Dylan with that brown spot at the base of his tail.
He's a handsome boy, can't wait to hear more about him. You're gonna have your hands full with the new puppy and this new guy. Have fun! |

He is a very cute boy. And yes, it will be busy around here.
We consider ourselves lucky around here, in that we have this great farm and lots of room. I've got two roommates that are really into the dogs, so they help with them. I am hopeful that this guy will mix well with Olie and Baby. So I can get him settled and then work on finding him a forever home. I've already been contacted by someone that is very interested once I get him comfortable and I get a good assessment of his behavior and demeanor. Hopefully, there won't be too many issues. So, with a little luck, Titus will have a perfect life. I'll post some photos once he arrives tomorrow! |
