APBTLove - Try contacting the man that I mentioned in my previous post. I don't know if he can do a whole lot but it's worth a try and he might be able to give you some advice or contact some people. Sorry that I can't do much more to help.

I will, right now my crappy email keeps sending everything I send out back to me. Thank for for that though.. I'm not getting much help from WD rescues because I can't prove he has anythign other than husky in him.

I am going to Va Beach next week, and will see about going to shelter, I could do a mini eval if he's still there.. If not, I'll check out one of the other dogs.

No problem I just hope that he can help.

How much does it cost to get a DNA test done?

Too much, due to that fact they rarely wok well.. I was watching a documentary of feral dogs, they caught a few, who looked like GSD or husky/lab mixes, and DNA tested them.. Came back with Jindo, Bull Terrier, GSD, and malemute. It might be different if there is wolf blood though.. Poor guy. I had better not come home with him. LOL

I thought DNA testing would be better than that. His paws and face definitely scream wolf to me... If you do bring him home at least you know he's safe and you could even find the right adoptive family for him yourself so you know who he is going to.

Ah don't say that! LOL

I can imagine the reaction from the furred and skinned family already living here.

I sent him to S.H.I.N.E (Siberian huskies in need everywhere) of Va, they take in mixes, and might be able to help place him.

I will update whenever I know anything.

Ah, I also sent an email to the shelter asking if he was neutered, they didn't say, so I guess he's not, but if he is the adoption fee is only $25, instead of $75, which would certainly help out with getting him vet checked..

Hopefully someone knowledgeable can help him out and make sure he finds an appropriate home.

My neighbor growing up had a wolf as a pet and she was a great dog/wolf. The only problem with her is that she would get the zoomies really bad then hyper ventilate and he would have to comfort her.
