quick question.. is it a good idea for me to get the pain meds too? they offered them to me, but i declined.. they said if i change my mind, they can be ready in 5 minutes

At the clinic where I work we dispense 4 days of oral Metacam for the owner to give to the females starting the next day. We give an injectable pain killer on the day that the procedure is performed.

I would go back and get some pain meds for her. A spay is a far more invasive procedure than a neuter and she's gonna be hurting.

ok.. well, i dont get to pick her up till tomorrow morning.. gonna go recycle some plastic and aluminum so i can get the meds.... i may need to get her an e-collar too.. the vet offered it to me also.. they said they'd keep an eye on her and see if she's licking.. if she is they're gonna let me know so i can approve them putting it on her
