I'm sorry Paul.
I know this must be hard for you.
Hopefully Zero's owners will do right by him.

Aw Paul... you said this would probably happen but it doesn't make it easier. Hope it works out because I hate seeing the poor guy keep going back and forth. Not good for any of you. Give Zero a goodbye hug from us and Zeus lots of extra hugs. Maybe the chatty one will talk extra to Zeus to cheer him up.

I was trying to leave that out. They tend to fight allot and she punched her husband so Zero grabbed her by the hair and pulled her away from him (From reading I guess Zero is one of those few dogs that acts on a situation). They have allot of issues with their life and are trying to sort things out. She is willing to give Zero another chance despite he takes sides with the husband. I have known Zero from a little guy and he has quite the personallity, he seems to pick up on vibes in the room and react on them. When I'm feeling down I will catch him in the side of my eye staring at me and he seems to understand. When I pet Zeus or Ares his tail will wag as to say he understands the feelings. I'm going to miss the big guy, he is one in a million.

You are breaking my heart, I bet you better keep his bed cause sounds like he may be coming back.
and I think a grab and pull is different than a bite and chomp.

Thanks, I don't think reality has hit home yet. Zeus and I don't want him to leave but I knew it was coming. I just hope to h*ll they treat him as good as he deserves, he is a great dog and will be missed very much. I feel like a pathetic sap right now, it's hard to deal with. I have already planned to take Zeus everywhere I go so he can get his mind off of it. I keep thinking that they may slip and do something irresponsible that puts him in harms way, I guess I'm just being paranoid.

Thumbs up

If your friend thinks taking Zero back when the couple is still fighting your friend is dreaming...with Zero in the house it ll be worst...your friend loves this dog and his wife..he s in the middle of a bad situation...i just hope zero doesn t bit the wife in a situation and the AC take him away...

Paul you tell your friend if it doesn t work out with zero you ll take him back....i know Zero is more out going then Zeus..it s a heartbreaking story..

you were a darn good stepdaddy to Zero..be proud...
