The collar that was on Drako when I got him was'nt lined. I took it off first thing. It was a Petco collar. Their gear is cheap. I've had a couple of equipment failures with their stuff. I only buy the high end collars and leads for my dogs. Stuff is spendy but no more equipment failures. I prefer the Buck Hollow leather stuff from Premier and Sprenger for all chain gear.

Wow alot of people seem to think it cuts you. I have had one on my dog for 9 months, never once hurt me, he will walk underneath my legs, it will touch...it is fine. It is also very good, incase lets say a dog attacks your dog( no matter how responsible you are, other people dogs can get loose or off their property) it protects your dogs neck, while you try to defuze the situation.
