Hey everyone! I know that some of you have mentioned you are involved in the horse world. Well the stable I work at is auctioning off a two of our lesson horses. These two boys are wonderful, I've ridden them and they would be great for a kid starting in the horse world and 4-H. If you or anyone you know is looking for a horse now is a great time to get one of these guys. Starting bid $100! If you want details feel free to PM me or email me at mstngchic2012@yahoo.com. Please give these guys great homes! They truly deserve it after all they've put up with at the barn

Wow! If I lived closer I would be all over that. We were given a horse for our wedding gift, but unfortunately we came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be wise to board a horse, when we ourselves were living in apartment.
I wish nothing but the best for these two! What a great opportunity for someone near you!

Awww come on now! Cinder Jr. needs to be on a horse before he even starts crawling... every little spawn needs their own 16hh Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse cross that has the personality of a snotty teenager. LOL

Hope these guys find a good home, great opportunity for someone for their first horse.
I hope to have my own horse in the future preferably a gaited breed and would like to adopt a BLM mustang. I help out a few days a week at the boarding stable my fiancee works at.

Do you think you can ask your fiancee if he know anyone looking for a horse? I know it's a drive from Canada but it's worth a shot to get these guys great homes.

This is all of the info that I have to give... it's what my boss sent to me. Unfortunately the only pics I have available are on a friend's Facebook.
“Dallas” (aka Springer Bud) is a 15.2 hand bay registered Quarter Horse gelding who has been at the WWRC for approximately 13 years. He is currently 24 years old, and is sound with a Natural/Barefoot trim. Dallas has been used exclusively in low level classes and trail programs for the last few years. Dallas goes both Western and English. He no longer fits the needs of our lessons facility, due to his increasing age. Dallas has been fairly healthy, but did undergo successful colic surgery in 2000 (vet’s release available). He can be ridden lightly, but is mostly looking for a good home where he can take it easy, eventually being a pasture buddy or lawn ornament. Dallas would require a quality grain and good, quality hay with access to grass pastures. Minimum bid for Dallas will be $100. “Patriot” is a 15.2 hand chestnut thoroughbred/quarter horse cross who has been at the WWRC for approximately 12 years. He is currently 18 years old (approx.), and has done well with a Natural/Barefoot trim. Patriot has been used exclusively in low level classes and trail programs for the last few years. Patriot goes both Western and English. He no longer fits the needs of our lessons facility, due to his increasing age and inability to keep up with the work load. He can be ridden lightly, but is mostly looking for a good home where he can take it easy, eventually being a pasture buddy or lawn ornament. Patriot would require a quality grain, good hay and access to grass pastures. Minimum bid for Patriot will be $100. Written bids will be accepted on these horses until December 20, 2009. Written bids must state, the dollar amount offered, what the horse will be used for and where it will reside. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and marked “Horse Bid-Dallas” or “Horse Bid-Patriot”. The mailing address is: Attention: WWRC Hamilton County Park District 10245 Winton Road Cincinnati, OH 45231 Please contact me with any questions concerning Dallas, Patriot or the bidding process. Rachel Neumann WWRC Manager’s Assistant (513) 931-3057 WWRC@greatparks.org

Oh! They forgot to mention that both horses have a LOT of experience with special needs children/adults. Dallas and Patriot were both in Special Olympics Equestrian events.
