Default AIMS - Pistol Pete - GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

On this day, July 13, 2009 @ 8:45 PM our Pistol Pete crossed over the bridge to patiently wait my arrival. His death was sudden and unexpected, struck down in his prime. He will be remembered for all the unconditional love and joy he brought to our lives and will be terribly missed. I am Heart Broken

Rest in peace buddy, high five.

Born Dec. 7, 2006 Died July 13, 2009

it was 101 in Texas today. The yard man came to mow in the middle of the day even though he wasn't supposed to. Pete got so worked up he had a heat stroke. We tried to save him but the initial VET care we received was not up to par so he was sent home with my wife instead of getting the proper fluids he needed. By the time we got him to the 24 hr emergency he was to far gone, I had to put him down. It only took about 10 minutes for this to happen.

I'm just still in shock and crushed over the entire situation.

Oh Bill, what a sad and terrible day for you and your wife. It is hard enough
to lose them when they have lived out their life but he was only 2 1/2 years
old and so full of life. My heart is so saddened by this. My thoughts are with
you both and with Pistol Pete. May his spirit rest.
