Default Charlie Accidently Ate a Piece of Apple

I was cutting an apple today and a piece accidently dropped and Charlie here ate it. I know some fruits and vegies are good for them but I was wondering Which fruits and vegies are beneficial for dogs and at what age is it ok to give them?

I feed both our babies 15 months and 9 weeks pieces of apple when I'm snacking on them....It also goes into their veggie glop.

I believe apples are a good source of carbs but I think that's about all apples are good for. I could be wrong...

you worry alot

apples are fine, apple seeds in large quantities are not(though, the exact amount of seeds needed to pass from practically inert to toxic are unknown).

seriously, if you aren't sure which "people foods" are fine or not, do a google search for dog safe fruits and veggies, and/or toxic foods for dogs

or go buy almost ANY dog/puppy magazine. they all have a list of safe/toxic foods for pets, tear that page out, and stick it on your fridge.

No wasnt really worried. I know an apple wont hurt him. Just trying to get as much advice as possible from others who might know more than me as to which fruits and vegies are more beneficial thats all. Obviously fresh products are better than processed ones

The whole eggs are primarily for helping with his coat appearance. The apples are just added carbs here and there to help them both with their weight. They both burn so much calories that without some carbs now and again, they start to get too skinny. Ajax actually lost a pound (14 to 13) after I started him on about 2lbs of raw/day.

ive heard grapes arent good but mine love frozen grapes, and i will just give a few at a time if i have any.
Veggies have to be ground up or cooked b/c dogs cant process them otherwise and they just pass right thru.
