Adding one more new member

Hello to all...I've been reviewing the forum for several weeks now just seeing how other folks are helping their EB's deal with life on a day to day basis. I'm especially interested in allergies since Rudy has them pretty bad. I've read about Duke and his dealings with allergies. Two weeks ago we had a blood test done on Rudy but we have yet to hear the results. We have done food trials and tried environmental things inside and outside of the house with no luck. Information in this forum is great, thanks to all for helping.

My buddy Rudy is a big EB but not over weight (in my opinion). He's 14 months old (born 9-11), hence the name Rudy and weighs a whopping 68 lbs. Like others here, he's bark is starting to sound scary but he's a big baby.

I really needed some help last night because he happened to scoop up a Wolly Worm in he's mouth and bit into it which caused him to become very sick and he threw up about 10 times throughout the evening. I did call the vet after not finding any info online and the vet said he would be fine. Today he is eating again and doing much better. Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum!

There is tons of info about dealing with allergies on here. And glad to hear that Rudy's feeling better after his not-so-good snack.

Welcome to you and your beautiful dog!!! hang in there with the allergies. I know they can be frustrating! hopefully once you get the blood results that will be a step in the right direction! :P
