Hey from South Florida

Hi everybody. I've been thinking about getting an English Bulldog for a long time now, basically my whole life but circumstances with career etc. have not been ideal. As I get nearer to retirement, I think more and more about it and I have a couple of questions.

What is the best EB specific book that I can get? I searched the forums and came up with 20 threads but gave up reading after the 15th thread not providing me the information I was looking for.

Also, does anybody know of a reputable breeder in South Florida?

Hey. I can't help you with breeders in your area, checking for a club directory is always a good start and then calling breeders or even visiting them will give you a sense of what they are producing.

Welcome. I hope you find your dog. Have you considered a breed rescue? Depending on your plans for the dog a breed rescue might be a good option for you.

I've rescued almost all of my dogs and haven't had a puppy since I was a kid. This time in my life (wife on dayshift and me on nights) is an ideal time to get a puppy since one of us will be home at all times and can housebreak, etc. Otherwise I would rescue.
