Awesome! I a fellow crocheter too! I didn't know anyone else on the board was into it. I love the blanket you're doing. I'm not very good at following patterns (I'm still a noob in that area) but I try. Now I wish I'd taken pics of my own work.

Awesome, it's gonna look so great when you are done! I don't do either crocheting or knitting, but one of my best friends does, here is her etsy store

My mom was making me an afgan before she died - it was squares of baby blue, baby pink and white. With random "pop corn" balls/bumps all over it. I told her I wanted it nice & tight because I hated the afgans that your toes always stuck through!
She passed away before she was able to complete it but being it was the perfect size for a baby - I asked my grandmother to finish the ends and gave it to my sister for my nieces.

I get made fun of all the time for knitting. I'm 23 and have been knitting since I was about 16, but I'm not that good, lol. I make sweaters for my foster dogs if they're small and it's winter, socks for my friends that want them (one of my friend's grandmother used to make him socks every year for Christmas, but she has arthritis really bad now and can't do it so he asked me to), hats, small blankets (I don't have the attention span for large ones), tea pot things, little random toys, lol, it's so much fun!

I can croch-ette -as I call it- but not well. I made my dad a bright orange scarf for hunting once. I had no idea how to make the ends straight so they were kinda rounded!
I made my dog at the time a scarf too. She liked it
