Good luck - you are in my thoughts.
Thank you Pat! Any advice you can give me will be much appreciated!

Breaking into the craft show circuit is going to be the hardest part. However, the lady that organized the craft show I went to on Saturday is really big into them. She's going to take me under her wing and help me out. She loves my product, she bought some at the craft show, went home and used it, and placed another order through email that night! LOL! Which is nice, seeing as the craft show was a flop. None of the vendors did well, and I was lucky to sell what I did. Quite a few vendors walked away with no sales that day. There were a few other things going on that day, a benefit, a Mary Kay open house, and another thing.

So, I'm rethinking my strategy for this upcoming craft show. I'm going to decorate my booth in a Christmas theme, and put together some small gift sets. I'm going to emphasize more on the fact that my products are handmade, and maybe do a comparison with some other products and prices.

When I was in Maine, I went to an October Fest. One of the craft booths were for handmade soaps, etc.
She had some displayed on the table, plus she had some displayed the way they would be wrapped in a
gift box. She was selling her soaps 3 for $10 and they sold very well. Perhaps in keeping with the economy,
small sets such as the 3 for $? would do better and make it more affordable for shoppers. They also included
a gift card and a price list with each purchase plus a gift card was put with each gift.

Mall stores will sell "buy two get the third free" to entice shoppers to try a new fragrance line of a bath product.
Or perhaps, buy a bath gel, bath lotion and get the soap free - tied together in a pretty cellophane wrapping.

so glad that you have someone who will help you with the shows. They can be disappointing sometimes but
they do get your name out there. Also, put it into your web site when you will be at a particular craft show
and invite people to some see and sample your product line. Congrats on picking up some new customers.
