honestly you are probably screwed, unless you can get some sympathy from the board and/or other homeowners. And really this something you should have looked into before you closed on the house. If they rule against you, you have no choice but to get rid of the dog or move. Good luck though.
and Kellee it is legal I'm sure they had to sign something at closing saying they agreed to the rules of the HOA |

Were you reviewed by the community board prior to purchasing?
Also - I wonder if this moron is the local trouble maker? Bet you a dollar that the community would deem him an aggressive breed

Things seemed to have resolved peacefully. My wife wrote the board and explained the situation before the guy could go raise hell. Long story short we are fine. We just have to give the board a copy of his papers in case any one else complains so that they have their proof.

Sounds to me like they really are fighting for you...that's great. Case closed...you supply information, they shove said info in the face of those that question. That's great.
