Site Conversion to VBulletin

Good morning everyone,

As you may have noticed, Bulldogbreed.com just got a makeover. We have upgraded/converted the site to a software called VBulletin. If you don't know anything about VBulletin, allow me to use this analogy -- it is like the Ferrari of online community management software.

Some of the new features on this site that are available to you now include:

- picture gallery (to store and show photos of whatever you want, minus the XXX kind if you know what I mean)

- a calendar to plan and check out meetings with BDB members

From an administration standpoint, myself and the mods will have much more at our disposal to keep this site more secure and to block out more spammers.

As with any kind of major software upgrade, there will always be a few bugs and glitches in the beginning. Our team has worked as hard as possible (including the mods who have tested the new environment) to squash as many bugs as possible. If you encounter something wrong with your account or profile, try not to curse at me. Send me a PM and I'll look into it ASAP.

I will leave this thread open for your FEEDBACK only. DO NOT post questions about bugs, glitches, how-tos. I will create a new thread for that.

It's a bit confusing at first but I think I can get used to it. The one thing I don't like is that I can't seem to mark threads read or forums read if there are posts that I don't want to read and I don't want it to say there are new posts (the ones I don't want to read).

You have to set up your account to have them. Go to User CP, on the left hand side click Edit Settings, and scroll down and check/change how you want things.

I had my signature up then I wanted to change it for Christmas, wasn't allowed animated so tried to go back to my other and I can't seem to get it up there. It says it is there till I go and look at a post and it isn't. This place is very frustrating and I find myself coming here less and less. I miss it.
