New layout for BDB

I have to say I am not liking this new layout for BDB.
Why change something if it isn't broken??
Anyone else having a difficult time

Couldn't "someone" have given us a heads up instead of "throwing" it at us

Typically I prefer boards that ensure the "community" is in the "know". But ultimately it's up to those that run things.

FYI there is a forum up top dedicated to the change so you can put in your two cents there.

Site security my butt. this new system is for the birds and isn't fun anymore. I don't like clicking to see every picture and the whole set up is crap.

Bones you have to go to User CP, click on Edit Options, scroll down to Thread Display Options, then click on Show Avatars Show Signatures Show Images. That should help you out.

Thanks for your feedback. I hope you will give this site upgrade a chance. To be fair, I did post a month ago when we had the site issue that we would be upgrading the site to a better software. For one thing, it is a major major improvement on security. I have spoken to ROOT back and forth about this and his sentiment is that he would have made this upgrade to if he had the resources to do so. Truthfully, the software that BDB was running on before was severely outdated. Please just give this a chance and see if we can't change your mind.

Relax and give it a week or two. It's barely a change for me because most of the forums I visit already use it. You'll get used to it. Things change and upgrade and develop. That's life. Do you also not like to use cell phones?

Is sarcasm necessary in this particular instance? When someone is expressing their displeasure in a forum in which the new site adminstrator asked for feedback? I'm sure that's not going to help her like the site format anymore.

You've stated she'll get used to it. Now give her a chance to, without lighting a fuse under those that don't.
