A guide to common health problems and related photo's.

After Chops hives outbreak I was wondering if we can have a sticky posted in the Health and Exersise section containing common health problems and photo's of the problem.
As we know the EBD does suffer a fair bit health wise and I think this would be a great benefit to all members here if there was a quick reference guide to problems.

I'm sure there are plenty of members here with photo's of their dogs illness that are willing to post in the section along with remedies / cures.

What do you guys think?

We did this with mange since mange is such a common problem among bullies and especially pits - we did a sticky with information and pictures - the problem is that no one ever read it. People would just start a new post with their problem rather than read through the information provided in the sticky thread.

I was thinking about combining a few common problems so it becomes something like a quick reference guide.

i think it would be a good idea - i know when i first came to the boards i tended to just whack on a new post - but as i am understanding the use of forums/boards better i always search now - and i think a sticky would be GREAT and a huge help to those who frequent the board more regularly - a guide for the EB would be great for me anyway.

Thats great info there gazar. Can we add some more topics to it and build on it? Also adding pictures helps ID some problems too.

I checked the thread and do not see any thing locking it. So add away. Just make sure that whatever is being posted is accurate information.

On the occasion, some members have posted pics of issues with their dog, but
not that many. Perhaps as we see them we can add them.
