Default Uma has signed up for a training class!

We have signed up for an introduction/evaluation with a trainer, and hopefully with a set of follow up lessons. Even though, Uma has learnt some basic obedience I hope the training will provide us with concrete foundation towards our CGC.
Wish us luck!

good luck, make sure the trainer does NOT use any jerks or rough training.. you want someone who does positive training since she is such a good puppy. were you able to watch the trainer with a class prior to signing up to make sure they are what you are looking for?

Thank you all!
I looked her up, and she is using positive re-enforcement training.
Our first session is scheduled for the 9th, it is a 1.5-2 hrs evaluation/introduction, I will make sure I ask as many questions and receive as many replies as possible

We just had our class, it was a great experience for both me and Uma We signed up for a few more sessions to work on the jump/excitement parts, leave it, drop it, etc.
The trainer used positive reenforcement, and by the time we were almost done Uma had her adorable pit bull smile on her face Now I am going to be a bankrupt because of the treats, lol

you can make your own treats, cook chicken and then cut it into pieces and you have training treats, or, take CHICKEN hot dogs, cut into small pieces, put on plate , cover with paper towel, put a coffee cup of water in the micro, and nuke chicken for a few minutes and it will turn them into dried treats....
