Good work. I have a question. What is the purpose for the trainer (?) to
tap the dog before slipping off the "arm thing"? Yeah, I know, I am not very
knowledgeable but willing to be informed.

the stick taps aid in desensatizing the dog to beign touched etc while in a bite, the dog shouldn't let go no matter what the "bad guy" is doing to the dog. If a bad guy finds a stick or something, and trys to hit your dog, and the dog lets go and trys to run, thats no good, lol.

shes had some training already, when she was younger, but has been a kennel dog for a while until we got her, so this was her first session after quite a while. she did really really well. all her previous work has been puppy stuff, so we were pleasently surprised with her work.

Thanks Lisa. I'm very pleased with her. This was her first full on sleeve session and after she had been put up for some time. Now I just have to learn that pesky russian for her commands
