I'm just afraid his fat head might not go thru the weave poles! :lol:

It went really great, better than expected.
He had no problems and wasnt scared of any obstacles.
As soon as we introduced him to an obstacle, like the tunnel,
he immediatly went thru it then kept going back thru it without
being told. He didnt walk around anything, like the hurdles and
wasnt afraid of anything, like the see/saw. He was running up the a-frame and jumping thru the tire like a pro.....
I was so proud!!
The instructer said she has never taught a bulldog agility so she
didnt know how he'd do, but after she said "he must have some
border collie blood in him".
Now, I know Orson will never be as fast as a border collie (genetically not
possible), but I'll be happy to see a bulldog even competing! :lol:
(we didnt get to weave poles yet)

Awesome!! I wold love to see a little video of him in action. Do you do the training or does someone else?

it is someone else doing the training, but she's training me and i'm running him thru the course.
I'll definatly take video (ya'll really think I wouldnt :wink: :lol: ),
just gonna wait till he can run the whole course, maybe in 2 weeks.

So happy to hear everything went well! That's great he had no enviornmental issues. I would imagine it's pretty common for alot of those dogs to have an aversion to the tunnels and other obstacles they use. I bet there's quite a bit of conditioning going on with alot of the dogs. You're lucky you don't have that problem. You will probably be surprised about how much you learn about Orson through this training. That is my favorite part of the training. I wish you and Orson much successs out there! Go BULLIES!!

yes, Lisa, i am very excited...i wish we could do it every day!
He thought the whole set up was his personal playground!
He loved the tunnel and a-frame, just kept going in & out and up & down them. He suprises me constantly!
