How do you prefer the body hair on your man/men?

  • Shaved everywhere (again, minus the legs)

On the topic of "MANSCAPING" (the grooming of body hair on a man) how do you prefer your men served up?

**I know what my wife prefers, I was curious as to what the general concensus is here**

Do you like your men:

1.) Nicely Trimmed everywhere (minus the legs, which, we all know should be left alone on a dude)

2.) Shaved everywhere (again, if you have a dude who's shaving his legs, you need to have a talk with him)

3.) Naturally wooly, and very much like a Yedi/Sasquatch.

Ladies, please also feel free to add any variation to the choices I have provided. HAHAHA!

For example, say you like your men to have shaved armpits, but a trimmed torso, and trimmed...ummm...downstairs, feel free to mention that, but still choose the answer that best fits your description. Please also post up and let us know what you chose.

**and if you could keep the description of certain areas of the male anatomy a bit more "PC," that would be great. I'd prefer to not read "shaved sack," "bare balls," etc 100+ times**

In an effort to keep this discussion as civil and mature as possible, I have chosen to NOT describe how I keep the hair on my body. You're welcome.

I see 3 votes for "NICELY TRIMMED" but no posts. Come on, ladies, fess up. :D

I'm exhausted and was just about to head to the bed, and your post has totally cracked me up!

It's nice when a man has enough respect to keep things trimmed down below, some chest hair, and hair on legs (which I agree shouldn't be touched) is fine. I could never date a man that had more hair on his back, than I do on my head. That is just disgusting. An old boss had hair growing out of his shirts, LONG black hair on his arms, and his hands, and it was just nasty. Everyone called him snuffaluficus (however you spell it, the wooly mammoth puppet), and it was truly just revolting. On the flip side, I'd be a little freaked out by a man who shaved everywhere as well, and had softer legs than I do. I prefer manlier men though, and I wouldn't want to feel like I'm curling up to someone that hasn't even hit puberty with no hair at all.

I agree with Jenn.... I like it trimmed down there but not ALLLLL over the place everywhere else.
I hate the feeling on a guy when he shaves and it starts going back in, especially on their chest.

I figure if I can take the time to keep my parts nicely coiffed then I expect my man will do the same. I want him to look like a man, not a boy, but I also don't want to see a gorilla. 8)

I do tend to be a bit of a smartass jokester at times. :D I'm glad you're enjoying the thread.

I like a guy that is natural. Shaving/waxing/trimming body hair is so...effeminate. I think my husband has a nice amount of body hair, and it would be really out of character for him to shave or trim any of it, so I would never ask him to. I HATE body hair stubble!!
You sound like my wife. She hates that I "manscape" but at the same time, I think looking like a Yedi is dirty and uncalled for...especially this day in age.

I am Italian, so body hair is kind of a given on us Guinea's. I trim my torso hair very short, shave my armpits bald, and I am fortunate enough to have ZERO back hair. (I'll spare you all the details of what the "lower level" looks like) But rest assured that if I do get hair on my back, I will be NAREing that crap off of me.

Oh, and for what it's worth, the amount of hair I naturally have on my body is far from "Yedi-Like." But still, I feel that it needs to be well maintained. Hell, the grass in my yard grows naturally, and look how nice that looks after a nice cut, trim and edge. :D

See, I don't think a lot of body hair is "dirty and uncalled for"...unattractive when it looks like a sweater, but not dirty. I think our society places way too much importance on body hair (or the lack of it.) And no, I'm not a hippy who doesn't shave...LOL!

My wife is exactly the same. And while she wants me to be hairy, she feels that she should be groomed in the same manner that I think she should. So, that's good for me. :D So yeah, she thinks women should be hip to the new millenium and shave, and leave the 70's/80's mess of hair in the past. I couldn't agree more.

Does she like grooming herself in that manner, or does she do it just for you?

Nevermind. You edited your post right before I quoted it.

I LOVE my men hairy...it's such a turn on!!

I've dated dudes with back hair...something nice to grab on to during sex!! I HATE when men shave, I don't wanna feel like im doin a chick! lol

My hubby isn't too hairy.... :( dammit

P.s....me liking my men hairy HAS nothing to do with my own personal grooming ;)

She prefers it that way...and I'm all for it. :D 8) I feel that a woman should have hair only on her head, eyelashes, and eyebrows...that's it.

And for what it's worth, my wife is American. I didn't marry an Italian woman because I didn't want to grow old with someone who would eventually have a hairier face than me.

 You make your wife shave her arms?? That's extreme! Why do you dislike body hair that much?

Your last sentence cracked me up!!!
