hello all, please be nice since im kinda new with this ..... i got my AB puppy on the Aug. 5th, she was 10 weeks old then (she already received the shots she needed). i took her to the vet a couple of days later, she recieved shots and a flea treatment. before i left he said to keep her home till she get her 2 next shots which is another 3 weeks and another 3 weeks after. so that makes it a month and a half of staying home. i want her to get her excersise and i want her to burn all that energy she has..... i want to walk her in the school yard across our house. will that be ok, no other dog contact but us walking and playin in the big school yard? will that be ok, or do i have to strictly keep her at home? thanks in advance

A back yard, or 30 min of tug time indoors is PLENTY of excercise for a pup that young. I am quite sure that your pup will give up well before 30 min of hard play. Playing one on one, with a tug, or ball, is VERY good bonding for your pup.

Why risk your pup's health? You have a lifetime of showing her off.

we play all the time, but playing tug and fetch isnt enough to wear her down .... lots of time i have to put her in her crate at night and she still have lots of energy and whine. we play with her almost the whole day except for times we leave the house and shes crated (not longer than an hour).... but i guess thats how it will be for another month and half..
thanks guys...

Mental stimulation will wear your pup out as well as physical exercise will. Here are a few things that work for me.

10-15 minutes of OB work
Chewing activities (flossies and such are still great at that age)
and
Problem solving games like:
Hide and seek with treats
Take a 1 or 2 liter plastic bottle remove the label, and outer plastic then give your pup her evening meal by putting his kibble in the bottle and toss in on the floor. She'll have to work for a while to earn her meal. Be sure to supervise, or she might try to eat the plastic.
Teach her to fetch
