RBKC BBQ INFO!

" The final date has been set for this years BBQ. It'll be Saturday, June 14th from 10:00 am to 2:00 PM at a local park here in Minneapolis MN. For those flying in from out of town this should give you ample time to make both flight and hotel arrangements. We really appreciate the support and commitment of the RBKC members and breeders in years past that have shown their passion for this breed and have been able to make it out. For those whom are new to Renascence Bulldoogges and want to learn more about it,the BBQ's are the best opportunity to do this. Picture's never tell the full story about the dog's size, structure, and temperament so we really encourage people to make it out to see the RB's in person and learn why we the breeders are proud to be involved with this special breed. The RBKC BBQ site will be 20 minutes from the Minneapolis Airport as a reference for those coming in from out of town. More information about the BBQ and maps to the site will be given in future post as we get closer to the date.

It should be allot of fun. If anyone needs directions please visit the RBKC website.

There are a few rules and guidelines for the BBQ.

For all of you that are bringing your kids, there is a wading pool at the site and a nice playground. So don't forget your childrens swimsuits and towels.

1.There is a $5.00 donation asked for anyone 12 and older. This helps to cover the fee for the park and other expenses.

2. Please only one dog per adult.

3. All breeds are welcome.

4. All dogs must be on a leash or in a crate. NO DOGS ARE TO BE TIED OUT!

5. Please bring a dish to pass. (buns and condiments will be provided)

6. Please bring your own beverages. NO GLASS CONTAINERS!(city ordinance)

7. PLEASE LEAVE ALL ATTITUDES AT HOME! This is a fun family Orientated day and not the place to come and Argue about bloodlines and Breeding Programs. IF YOU CAN’T ABIDE BY THIS PLEASE DO NOT COME OR YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE!

8.Please bring proof of Rabies Vaccination. (City Ordinance)

9.Please bring a water dish for your dogs!

10.Brats and Hot dogs will be provided. If you prefer something else you must bring it.

I want too so bad, we were discussing whether we should or not, the real issue is we just bought a boat and we need to
save our monies up to make da payments. :?

Next year for sure, hopefully I'll have 2 RB's to bring the the barbque at that time. :wink:

if i went i cant bring the dogs, or even A dog b/c i dont have an airline crate and they are expensive. And Orson would act a butt to all the other dogs. :cry:
i know ya'll will have a great time, cant wait to see pics (and video maybe :wink: )

Sounds like a great event for the RBKC community! It’s always awesome to see the dogs in person and connect with others.

Older post dated in 2007. Not sure if the BBQ's are still happening.
