Everyone, the deadline for voter registration is early October. I know in FL it is October 6th.

I don't care who you are voting for or why. But please please please register to vote. Not only is voting your right, but in my honest opinion it is your duty as an American citizen.
So, let's all get out there and make our voices heard!!

I've been hearing that my whole life.
My Dad was in politics when I was a kid so I've always been die-hard about it.

I've even applied to work the polls this year! :D

um,yeah....so what exactly does not voting change?
nothing. it just proves that americans are apathetic.

i really don't understand the mindset that it is better to sit around and watch everything go to heck than to at least try and do something about it.
i am well aware that my one measly little vote is not going to change the world. but getting people to the polls is at least some action. they're not going to be willing to put the energy into any kind of revolution if they're not willing to get off their couches to drive to the nearest poll and take 30 minutes out of their lives to select the candidate of their choice. jmo.

Today I sent in my application for a mail-in ballot. I have been registared to vote since 1976, the first year a presidental election had 18 year olds voting. Now, I will vote from the comfort of my recliner and I can review the issues while I do it.
I definately believe if you do not vote then you have no right to complain. As a mtter of fact if someone does start complaining to me I ask right away, Do You Vote? If they say no, I tell them I don't want to hear it.
