What a relief! So happy for you guys and the good news.
Just wondering did the doctor discuss anything about diet and nutrition and how to better to support intestinal health for Dylan to prevent this in the future?
um....no. Thoughts??
I just thought perhaps the vet had some suggestions for you regarding this and keeping his colon healthy.

Just finished talking to the doctor.
Dylan's pathology report came back and the masses that were removed were benign inflamed rectal polyps.
YEAH!!!!

He told me to keep an eye out for rectal bleeding and any more colonic perforation because if symptoms arise again we may need to take a more "radical" approach. But, my boy is good and healthy and I am so happy right now! Merry Christmas to us! :D :D :D
That;s great news, Merry Christmas to you both

Excellent news, A. I am glad that the results came back as benign.
Wishing goodness for you, Dylan, and your family.

I'm late as always. Just read about Dylan and boy what a scare. I am SO happy that it was nothing and he will be alright. I know you were very scared and now you can relax and love your boy.

Once again I'm happy he is well. take care.

Super late on this; but haven't been on in several weeks. We're just so glad that everything turned out very well & Dylan now is back to his "ol" self. Couldn't ask for a better Christmas present.

Here's to a healthy New Year!

Maria
