Hey everyone, I was just noticing how cute everyone's dog's names are and I thought it would be fun to share why we chose the names we did.
I'll start:
Our 1st dog was a lab mix. We adopted him from a shelter and were unsure what to name him, I had a very beautiful "dream" the night before of my Grandfather (he passed a number of years prior) and I thought that it would be nice to name him after my Grandfather. His name was "Jack".
Our 2nd dog is our pekepoo. I always wanted a small dog and my husband did not. So, to get my way; I told him he could name her. So he did. He's a cop, so he named her after the letter T in the phonetic alphabet. Our baby girl "Tango" was born!
And finally, the newest addition to our zoo. Our American Bulldog. My husband thought it was only fair that since he named Tango, I should get to name our bulldog. Well, I always loved the movie "Monsters Inc" James P. Sullivan "Sulley" from that movie was the best scarer they had, but he was a gentle giant when he was off-duty. (He also has kind of an AB face, big, round eyes, smooshy nose, and big ol' teeth sticken out) So, I wanted to name our new pup after him. Well, our daughter had different ideas; she wanted to name him "Max" so, to compromise - his registered name is "Mr. Max Sullivan" but we call him Sulley around here!
So, what's your story?
