Here is our AB pup at 11 weeks old and 19lbs. The boxer is 5 yrs old and 50lbs. Is this a good weight or is he big or little for his age?

Its what the scale said. Not sure how accurate the scale is though.

He looks like a healthy puppy to me. Dogs grow at different rates and genetics also plays a factor. Contact the your breeder and ask about his parents. They could give you a better idea about Jax's growth rate. He's definitely a cutie.

His dad and mom were around 85-90lbs. Breeder said the dad was small for his bloodline. But he said the dad's brother and dad were big dogs, and he said ours should be big also. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Our pup Axel is now 10 weeks old and weighs about 18.5lbs

I would say he's right on par then my friend!!! Our Sulley was around 25 lbs at that age, but his mom was 100 lbs, and his dad was 125 lbs.
He's a beautiful dog. Nice solid black nose, and SUPER CUTE markings! He and Sulley could be brothers!!

My wife picked the name. I picked the breed, she picked the name. (I think I won that one) I dont know where she heard it. We dont watch that show, so I doubt its from that.

i love AB... i was going to get one but i live in a condo and would be hard to walk him around the neighborhood and have to carry a 55 gallon trashbag to clean up after him lol.. but such a great breed. my brother has one. he is just a year old and 130lbs huge dog..
