does she seem to like the food you are feeding her? how often are you feeding her? Is it possible youre feeding 3 times a day and you could move to 2 times? I think my puppy did this when he was little, but I shook his bowl and brought it to him and then he would eat it. I guess thats spoiling him on a whole new level :)

How much and how often are you feeding her is an important question.

If she's not sick - could just be too much food is being offered to her where she's turning it down.
Serving sizes on the packaging is a lot more than needed.

Hudson did the same as a pup. We were feeding him too much. Eventually I fed him later so he was 'hungrier' and when I put the food down I gave him his space to eat. If he didn't eat or didn't finish I'd take it away until dinner. He learnt to eat when the food is there. Now he KNOWS breakfast is at 745 and dinner is at 515. If the food isn't out he makes sure we know. On rare occasions he still won't eat it all (very rare). It's better than them stuffing themselves.

However I would keep an eye out if it acts up. If she doesn't eat all day or tomorrow then I would see if she'll eat something else. If not I would consult your vet.

I feed her Hills Science Plan Vet Essentials Large Breed Puppy Food, ive been giving 3 meals a day, which i am planning on reducing to 2 on the weekend.

i haven't really been measuring the amount, just adjusting the amount according to if she leaves any i know i gave too much and if its all gone to put slightly more.

In the morning i usually add chicken mince and she usually enjoys it.

Hopefully she will eat later on, ive never been this in love with an animal lol i am like a concerned mother because my child hasn't eaten today !!

Sounds like you're quasi free feeding. I would put in a set amount every feeding (for Atticus we do a heaping cup or two full).

Give the pup a set amount of time to eat it (it takes Atticus about two minutes). If the pup hasn't eaten it all, pick it up. Take it away.

The pup will soon learn to get to business.
