Hi
I have a 1 year old male bulldog called Baxter:
He’s come from a fantastic breeder. He came down with pneumonia at 4 months old and had his pallet shortened and been great since. He keeps coming down with a hacking cough and coughing up white foam- a long with green snot from one nostril! the vet says just to give the prescribed coedine and paracetamol which should settle it but has no answers as to why this happens? can anyone advise me on what else it could be or what to do please?
he’s very healthy otherwise and leaps around like a maniac even when like this!

I am sorry Baxter is having these issues. Did your vet check him out for seasonal allergies?
Has he given him any antibiotics for the cough and runny nose? What you are giving him now are pain medications.
But he may need antibiotics as well. Please ask your vet. Do hope Baxter gets better soon.

Please enjoy the forum.
