I have a 5 month old female English Bulldog. She is great but she loves to bit hands instead of toys. And when you walk she love to bit at legs and feet. Especially my wifes feet. She has gotten my wife a few times and my wife has done the crying and screaming. (Really tears and pain) We consistently say "no" firmly and will put her in a pen if she is biting hard. What else can I do to get the point accross to her faster? How long does the biting phase go on for? My last bulldog didn't have this problem. He never bit this hard or bit my hands as often.

The squilling and acting hurt seemed to work very well. My wife or I would squil and she would jump back and then would try to lick our faces. Everytime the squil happed from biting she was licking our faces for 2 or 3 minutes straight. I hope that it continues to work well.
