Here is how we spent a few hours this morning... what fun! The boys are exhausted.

Notice the labradoodle on the right? His owner was talking to me about Jesse being a mixed-breed, and she was like "Oh I LOVE mutts. I would have gotten one, but my allergies... " I bit my tongue, but on the inside I was thinking "Lady, what you've got right there IS a mutt!" He was a big 'ole goofy love of a dog... I just wouldn't call him a purebred.

Anyone watch Dave Chappelle? "I'm Rick James, b**ch!!!"

This guy was SO cute... some sort of basset mix

Jesse James n' Loki playin' with some friends:

There were a couple of beautiful Aussies there:

Loki in his glory:

King of the mountain:

Time out for some lovin'

Handsome Bernese:

Group shot:

Jesse resting with a buddy:

This greyhound could MOVE! It was beautiful to watch:

Socializin':

Loved this guy:

This little one stayed on her master's lap and watched... so tiny!

Water break:

Playin' in their "den":

The dogs had a blast playing, and it was great fun taking pics of all the dogs. Everyone was well-behaved and friendly... wonderful way to spend our day off!

Mine would love to be in a place like that...too bad Chapps is banned and shouldn't be in a dog park anyway (because of his breed!)
And Holly, being so dominant, I wouldn't trust her offleash.

Looks like they had a blast, and Im sure you know once JJ reaches sexual maturity, a place like that wouldn't be the best option.

I guess the lady thinks she's allergic only to mixed breeds???? Purebreds are okay though (not that a labrodoodle is a purebred)? What a weirdo.

They did...tired 'em out good! I loved seeing all the other dogs, and Jesse LOVES the smaller dogs...very affectionate toward them.

He will be denied or allowed things based on his behavior & demeanor, and our personal comfort level (which typically airs on the neurotically protective side)...not his breed.

That said, I worry more about the Akita in him than the APBT in that regard...but if it comes to that, at least we'll always have a fenced-in backyard so he & Loki can play together.

Look like they had fun. I just wonder, why the sign stating that the water is for "dog consumption only"? LOL Is it not fit for humans, but ok for dogs?
