Hi, just wondering if anyone has tried their bull breed in agilty. Watching Storm when we go down the bush she loves to climb and jump things. If we can get her to a safe dog socialable level it's something I'd like to try has anyone else given it a go?

There's am APBT learning herding here in Australia and doing quite well at it.

I'm definitely looking in to agility when Amrika (AB/Pit) is trained. I tried it with my ridgeback Milo LOL! He wouldn't chase a roasted chicken through the chute or the tunnel.

I do agility with my American Bulldog, Abby. We have a couple trials coming up to, one with CPE and the other with USDAA. Here's some pictures:

What is a good way to get a dog into agility or to find a good agility group? I would like to get our Boxer into agility (would do Zeus, our AB too, but he is WAY too clumsy).

I guess it depends on where you are, but the first place to look is your local all breed kennel club. Various dog trainers also know of agility groups. I don't know how well they do things like advertise on line so that's where I'd go first.

Here you go ~ Start with these sites, and you can do a search by area.

OR That direct site

here are some others...

Good luck, and I hope these help! I have all desire to do it, but the closest to my area is 2 hours away ~ maybe you'll have better luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I know the obedience club near me runs agility nights classes so hopefully we'll soon get there.

Do any of your dogs have dog aggression and if so how did they work in that sort of setting?
