maybe you cant do it anymore but i know you use to be able to dual register a dog with the UKC and AKC.

i dont keep up with all the changes in the registries, the standards and the rules change too much :roll:

You can register an AKC AmStaff as a UKC APBT (if you had registered it with the AKC first), but you can't register a UKC APBT as an AKC AmStaff if you had registered with the UKC first. I think that's how it works; someone can correct me if I'm wrong! So, the UKC considers them the same breed, but the AKC doesn't.

I think your right they are the same thing to me.
