My hubbie and I were working outside in the backyard outside the fence. Our 2.5 year old male english bullie was trying to get our attention and act like his golden retriever sister and stood on his back legs and tried to put his front legs on the top of the fence posts. We laughed at him, but later noticed that he was limping and not putting any weight on his right back leg. This happened Friday afternoon. Friday night and Saturday morning he would not put any weight on it, then Saturday night he started putting a little. Sunday he put more weight on it and today (Monday) he almost is back to normal. Should I be concerned? He cried once when he sat down on Friday, but has not made a peep since then. It was never swollen or anything. I have been giving him a baby aspirin on the recommendation of the vet, who said to bring him in if it had not improved by today. Since it is almost back to normal, I thought I should just keep an eye on it. He has been on crate rest only going out to potty - which is very frustrating! He wants to run and play. Let me know if you have any suggestions/opinions.

He may have torn his cruciate ligament. I'd get him to a vet and have them check for a drawer sign (movement in his knee that would indicate a tear)
