Hello everyone
My boyfriend and I are proud owners of a 3yo bulldog bitch named Daisy. We only got her a week and a half ago from a private kennel and we were told that she was house trained. The first day she wouldn't come out of the house at all, on the second day, she peed in front of us when we were having dinner (charming!), then the next morning she pooped and peed in the same place. We moved her at nights, from the living room to the kitchen and she knows she sleeps there. Since the second day, we take her out early in the morning, then at 2 o'clock, then about 4 pm and then at night. We think she now knows that she musn't poop in the house, as she does it always outside, but for some reason, she continues to pee in the house. Last night, she peed in her bed and stayed there until we noticed in the morning.
Can someone give us any tips on how to train her?

Thanks a lot!

We haven't got a kennel for her and we do use a stain/odour remover everytime she pees. She seems to get along with our routines, we make sure she gets enough time out, in the morning, midday, afternoon and night. She poops outside and occasionally pees aswell, but she seems to be waiting for the right moment when we're not watching her or we have just given her a treat because she has poop outside!! We know is not going to be a matter of two days and we are patient with her, but it seems to get worse.
We didn't get her a kennel cos it look like she felt really safe in her bed. Today is the second day on a row that she has peed on the bed. We were told that she hasn't got any health problems but want to go to the vet with her as soon as possible, just to be sure.
As for her routine, we take her out 4 to 6times a day (early morning, midday, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and around 10ish). As I say, she poos outside but has rarely peed outside. We want to catch her in the act but she usually does it in the middle of the night when we're all asleep. We tried to put some nappy training pads and she ignores them completely. We underestand is going to take long, but we as it looks to be going worst, we don't want her to get used to do it in the house. Wouldn't this be the case if she got a kennel? She would probably pee in the kennel and if we have to choose, we'd rather clean the floor that have her in a kennel where she pees aswell.
