Hiya,

we recently obtained this 16 week old puppy, here in the UK we didnt have any papers as any breeds other than British bulldog arent registered. We were told Olde english bulldog, however after lots of research on the internet we thing American Bulldog or a cross with anything.

Also any thought on how tall he might get??

Any suggestions will be appriciated.

It is very hard to tell the difference in some breeds of bulldogs i.e. Olde English, Alaphaa Blue, American.etc he could be an Olde E some of the pictures Of Oldes look like AB's (which was my 1st thought)........Since there is no way to really know I would agree that he is an Olde...plain for at least 50lbs of dog

No way is that an Olde English! He does however look like an american bulldog maybe a bully hybrid or a nice stocky scott type. If so he will probably be around 22" high at the withers (ROUGHLY) and as far as weight when he is 20 weeks old weigh him and double that weight and you will have a real close idea of how heavy he will be when mature.

That's what I was thinking - although Im not expert.

He looks ALOT like Alphamale's Vegas did at that age - the markings are pretty close to Vegas' too.

That is one cute AB. AB definitely. My guys is 9 months old (today!) and is up to my knees/thighs, and I'm 5'2". They'll get more heavy (muscle) than they will tall.

Is this typical ? Sassy is 56 lbs at 5 months old, so perhaps 112 lbs at maturity ? Her mother is 88, father is 115.

Looks like a standard type AB to me. Could be a hybrid of course.

I'd plan on 22" at the withers (give or take) and about 80-100 lbs.
