the spikes are actually rounded tips so they will not scratch, and they are a tiny 3/8 inch so you should not have any problem..they are not comfy to hug though :lol:

It looks like to would hurt to scratch your neck with that thing on. Those spikes look like they are long and pretty sharp. I love the Yellow! Where did you find it?

I have colored latigos in yellow, orange, purple, pink , navy, jade, light blue, forest green and royal blue..I like that they are vibrant colors and not your normal collar colors...but I have those too :lol:

I line these all with a full 1/8 inch suede lining for comfort and it adds a nice thickness to the collar.
