We thought Otto had an eye infection, but now we think he may be getting a cherry eye. He had one before we got him, but now its the other eye which our vet said was common. doest his hurt them? how do they remove it?

Thanks!

I am not sure if it "hurts" them, but I know it is uncomfortable. Imagine taking your eyelids and flipping them up so they were constantly in the air. It would not feel very good. It requires surgery to fix. It is actually an inflamed, irritated part of the dogs inner eye/eyes. I am surprised your vet did not discuss all this with you???

Good luck with your baby, I hope feels better soon. :)
