Loki just went to the vet for his shots and check up, and his nose is pink and black. The vet said although they dont generally have issues with sunburn, if i want, i can get a permanent black texter and colour the pink black.... Ok... Has anyone done this?

Personally, if somone coloured my nose black with one of those foul smelling pens, id be pissed, and the fact the my boys nose is about 1 million times stronger than mine, i think it would be torture! I asked the vet about this, and his reply was "i have never heard of a dog being hurt by doing this..."

Any ideas?

I thought the same thing when the vet told me about tatooing em. Id be pissed if somone tried to tat my nose. i use lotion and works good but its your choice on what ya wanna do.

On a further note, he also told me that giving him a raw egg over his kibbles in the morning is bad, as its dairy....

I normally give Loki 2-3 eggs a week, raw for breakfast, for something a bit different (he can be fussy) and to keep him healthy, as i was under the impression that raw egg's were very good for them, but he told me to stay away from them!

Do you guys give your pups raw eggs?

Some people consider eggs to be dairy just because they're near each other in the grocery store.

Eggs aren't bad in moderation. You can even feed the shells to your dog for calcium. Just make sure his overall diet is balanced.
