Homemade hooves, now that is just cheating!!!! LOL, thank god they are not expensive at $1 a piece, but she goes threw em like candy. Gonna have to check the local ranches and farms

I let mine chew them for a little while, and I had two negatives about them. 1) THEY STINK!!!!! It truly smelled like a dairy farm once they got them all wet and slobbered up. 2) They both threw up at times and had chunks of cow hooves in it.

I can't deny that they loved the hell out of 'em. If I gave it to them at noon, it was just a sliver by bedtime. I just got tired of the smell and picking up puke. They like their turkey flavored nylobones just as much without the fuss.

All 3 of mine love them, but I don't let them 'eat' them...just chew on them until they start looking a little worn.

If my dogs had a choice, they would prefer to chew on Barbies :D

I was actually thinking about this as I went to sleep last night (yes, I know  )...the only thing I'd be worried about is impaction - if they actually ate too much at once...

HMMMM, well she eats chews em till they are gone. I figured since it is a natural product it was ok. Nylabones do not last, atleast if you follow the recommendation of the company, they say to only let them chew till the ends are worn. That only takes her a little while, and for the price of nylabones thats tough. However, she does do well with the nylabone galileo and the turkey leg tuff chew, but she does not like these NEARLY as much as her hooves. Have not had a problem with her throwing up. She does break of pieces and crunches them down.
