So we went to San Antonio yesterday to get updated xrays. The vet said he is doing great and will be back to normal exercise in 3 more weeks. He has a plate and 4 screws in his leg. I don't have much time now to explain the surgery, it was very interesting. I will tell you guys about it later. Thanks for all the support. He gets to have his first walk in five weeks today.

Well, his front leg was turned out. A little about his surgery. There are two parallel bones in the front leg. They cut them both in half and then turned the joint to be straight. They put one bone back together with one plate and 4 screws. The other bone has a 1 centimeter gap. They said that callus will grow there and help fuse the bone back together. It is already happening but it isn't done healing yet. The other bone is good since its robotic now, j/k. The xrays were crazy looking. I freaked when I first saw the one bone still broken with a big gap until they said that it was supposed to be that way. This is the first chance we got to talk to the vet and find out exactly what they did in the surgery. He said he is healing extremely well and should be good as new in 3 weeks. He said to start walking him and by 3 weeks he will be up to 2-3 mile walks. Yeah right. I can't even make it that far. Anyways, thanks for all the support. I will update with photos when I get a chance.
