Can't wait to see what he looks like at 2 yrs of age. He's really filling out nicely now.

I am pretty certain he is the last hybrid AB I will be getting though *i think*

I think his eyes are his best feature. They are so expressive. You almost have to see him in person to understand.

You can see how blue they are in his 3month pic too.

I have another puppy pic of him with blue-blue eyes too, sooo nice =D

All red-nosed/liver nosed dogs have green or blue eyes when they are pups then turn to hazel/amber when they are older. I almost prefer red/liver nose and amber eyes myself.

I'm going to dig up that other puppy photo now, I forgot about it till you mentioned that hehe

thnx! Yeah I can't believe I haven't been showing him yet, but I've been a bit far north the past 4 months to make it to any shows. Now that I'm back south again I'm going to be showing him ABA and ABNA, as well as at local southern ontario events.

The reason I don't think I will be getting another hybrid...well I've just become more educated in the bulldog world and it's not that I dislike hybrids or standard dogs at all, I love them, I just have become aware of the more drivey bully lines / breeders out there, and I believe it is completely possible for an AB to have what is in my eyes the total package (to not only look like a bulldog but act like a bulldog) a bully look, athleticism, great prey and civil drives, good structure, health, temperment, etc. I am not really stuck on getting a dog strictly for PP anymore, to be honest bulldogs were never strictly meant for PP, but were meant to be able to do any task given to them. If I wanted a dog that excelled specifically in PP I would get a Malinois, a dog bred only and specifically for PP. I am really more interested now in a dog that can do it all, weight pull, SchH, Iron dog, and also do well in the show ring. I think previously I've just never met many bully ABs that had much of any drive, but I've seen and been witness to many out there that have it, and I believe this should be promoted within the AB world, and would someday hope to have a program of my own and promote the working bully AB. There are others doing it (Mancera and Manstoppers, Bybees and other Sure-Grip breeders, Braveheart is also another kennel that I really support for their dedication to continuously raising the bar on the AB - he's got a great program), but there's just not enough, and imo that's going to harm the breed. I hope that makes sense.
