It's hard to, but i feel like I have to maintain his rank lower than both me and the pom by not allowing him at our level. Yes, the pom is quite fiesty and she's already proclaimed herself alpha over him (like most females do LOL). They play fight alot and he ends up on his back with the pom standing of top of his chest. He also allows her to drink water first, he sits back until she's finished.
