I would also agree but if that dont work those collars will teach them real quick. You need to be careful though I knew someone who used one and his other dog was barking and setting off the collar!

Someone suggested shaving a little part on her neck where the prongs go ( she has a shepherds coat )

Make sure the collar is tight and if it still does not work up the voltage. If you cannot up the voltage then you have a cheap collar and you need to buy another one.
