has anyone had this done?
Otto has been one-eyed willy for a few weeks ago and it got really bad this week so we brought him to the vet yesterday and she said its either scratched from playing with Sally or he has too much skin and his eyelashes are pushed under and irritating his eye which is the part she would remove.
she said this was common in bully's. my brother's Chow had this done when he was a puppy, any one else?

Day surgery and there is nothing to it! I would book it soon cause it is like having every eyelash you own stuck in your eye 24/7 and that is very painful!

I think it's called entropian. If so, this is very common in EB's.

simple surgery... but they look like hell till it's healed...line of bloody stitches and red eye.
do it asap as it is an awful, painful thing .

Hi. My english bulldog is going to have the entropian surgery next week. It is a common issue in the bulldogs, but I heard that once they have the sugery, they made need more somewhere down the road. Getting it done sooner than later is better since it can cause corneal scarring. My poor dog is getting spayed, etropin and nasal surgery done at the same time.

I think they can laser it or remove it manually.
