Right off the bag

Weight of Puppy (lbs) Serving Size
10 or Less 1 1/3 to 2 cups
10 - 20 2 to 3 cups
20 - 30 3 to 4 2/3 cups
30 - 40 4 2/3 to 6 cups
40 - 60 6 to 7.5 cups
60 - 80 7.5 to 9.5 cups
80 - 100 9.5 to 11 cups
Note: These feeding guidelines are suggested only, feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate.
Puppies can begin nibbling on moistened Natural Balance® Venison & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food before they are weaned. From six weeks to six months, feed three times a day. You may want to add a small amount of Natural Balance® Venison & Brown Rice Canned Dog Food for ease of feeding. The amount of canned dog food can be gradually decreased as the puppy matures. After six months, it is recommended to feed twice daily.

I gave Orson whatever was recommended on the bag of Eukanuba puppy that i USED to feed him...was like 4-6 cups.
But i switched him to DVP duck/potato for same reasons as you and
it's a good food. He is 17 months and gets 2 1/2 cups a day now...
at a year I was feeding him 4 cups a day and he got pudgy...so that
was too much.
I'd say feed him whatever amount that he doesnt get fat eating.
Try 4-5 cups...what does DVP recommend for puppies, should say on bag.

OEBs no different than any other puppy, except you dont want to give them anything that will make them grow fast.

Pictures please! :D
