I just found out a friend of mine In Georgia (she joined our forum a while back) lost her Basset Hound Penelope Josephine. http://bulldogbreeds.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?p=43952&highlight=#43952

Penny has been fightling Lympoma for several weeks now. she had just started winning the battle against the cancer. She was hit by a car and passed away. Im not sure of the details of Penny's death - I don't want to further upset Jenny by asking - but I know Jenny and her husband are heartbroken. Penny was their "child". She was their life, their everything.

Good bye sweet Penny Girl. Shine on.

What a bad day for dogs! I just found out that my friends Great Dane died last night due to "Wobbler's neck".

I'll think of your friend.

Oh...I remember sweet Penny! I'm so sorry to hear of her passing...please let Jenny know we are thinking of her..>RIP sweet Penelope!

Always sad to hear of someone's beloved dog passing...esp. in such
a terrible way! She looked like a beautiful dog!

She was a gem. I never had the opprotunity to meet her in person, but there was nothing ugly about Penny. She was as beautiful on the inside as on the outside - and she knew it! That's why we called her Da Diva.

Here's a montoge someone made for her. They started it before she passed, so it's even more special now.
