So my little baby is about ten months old, and I have this little problem.... Why is it that he will do so good (not potty in the house) for most of the month, and then every month for about three days he will have a streak of peeing and pooping in the house excessivly? In stead of letting me know that he has to go, he will stand right in front of me and pee about a foot away! It is so frustrating, because he goes through this cycle about every month, and it makes it hard to build up the trust to let him stay out of the cage when we are gone or sleeping... How do I break him of this habbit? It is really stressing me out!

When he has this problem, we do try putting him in his crate and he will still pee in there. We also control how much food and water he receives, and also take him out every hour. He will pee outside and then go again when we bring him back inside. I have no idea why he does this at all, maybe its a male thing? We also have a jack russell thats 13 months old and he has the same problem. maybe its a follow the leader type thing, because when one does it, the other starts up.

He does go outside all the time, it is only a couple days (in a row) that he will go in the house. I just dont get it. The cage is partioned off, and I do clean it with soap and water and also a urine scent remover... he is house broken... Its just two or three days in a row every once in a while. Maybe he just does it to stress me out! Or also, maybe it was triggered by a break in routine? My fiance and I work the same shift and he has been on lay-off for about a week. They are usually in their cages for this period of time, but have been out recently due to the fact that he is home. Also, My fiance mentioned to me today that he went to put rocky in his cage and he began to pee all over... Maybe he just thinks that if he pees that he wont have to go in his cage? (Because obviously when he pees we have to clean it out and cant do it with him in there) and also when he pees in the cage or on the floor we take him outside. Maybe he just wants to go outside? I dont know if this is the problem, but if it is, is there any way to break him of this habbit?
