New here. Wanted to say hello. I do not currently have a bulldog breed as of yet. But lookig as of now.
I own a 9 month old rotty girl, and want to add a bulldog breed to my household.

I did go to the local shelter to find a bulldog, but no luck. They had a few mixed breeds, but not sure what they were.

I don't want a puppy, too many out there, I want a adult, or young adult, that needs a family....

I am not sure. my wife has been longing for a english bulldog, but I don't have 1500.00 to spend.

I am still learning the breed, and researching, and a bit lost...I might add.

I have been watching the forum for a short period, and finally got the nerve to join and post.... :lol:

if you don't have the cash for an english you might have a problem with the vet bills that come with english bulldogs, they have alot of health problems. not that I'm tring to discourge you, just something to think about.

Yes, I have heard they have issues. I keep emergency money set aside on a normality. but had the pleasure of using on the house recenlty.....ugh!

If your looking to adopt, think about an AB... they are the best dogs in the world. (its a proven fact).. hahahaa... well thats my opinion anyway...

yeah AB is the way to go but ofcourse I am biased. EB's have to many health related probs and to short of a life span IMO
