Ok guys I am getting ready to freak out and take carter to the vet now for the 4th time in 2 weeks.

I took him last sat. and they gave him a shot becuase the lady said that he has a large amount of round and hook worms. None hav ecome out in his poop and today his stomache is HUGE. Is he going to die if this keeps up? Im scared they are going to kill him. Can he die from these damn worms? Why the hell arent they coming out!?!?!?!? i cant take this anymore. I cant stand see this puppy sick the way he is. I'm really worried about him. I dunno how much more of this bull shit I can take.
that F*ckin breeder needs to rot in hell.

What am I suppose to do. I went out and bought more worming tablets to do myself... but i am holding off. I dont wanna make it worse.

Anyone know if its suppose to still get bigger (his belly) did u ever have this experience?!?!

If they wormed him three days ago, you should definitely have seen worms in his poop, and his stomach stop bloating. I would call the vet back. He may be constipated from the dead worms. Never seen that happen, but I guess it's a possiblity Gross. Poor baby!

First off, yes a dog can die from worm infestation but it's usually due to starvation & dehydration as the intestinal worms & parasites rob his body from absorbing any nutritional content. Second, it's very possible your dog is reinfesting himself if you are not super duper vigilant in picking up every single stool at the time it is "deposited". If your not doing this regularly & this pup is playing in the yard, he can reinfest himself just by licking his paws after romping in the yard as it's fecal to oral transmission. And depending on the load, it can take up to 2 weeks to completely rid a dog's system of intestinal worms and/or parasites.

Could the worms have died and are blocking him up somehow? I haven't seen this but always wondered if it could happen...

I would call the vet tomarrow, it doesn't sound right.

I did that last night. I called and left a mesg and soame guy called me back. (a vet) He was like talking to my a$$. He had nothing to say and said, well u know just lket em go and do the puppy thing and welkl if in a couplke days he cant poop and has a big belly, then bring em back in for tests".

i was like well let me tell you I am soooo glad I called. See, i figured calling the VET, who should KNOW about this stuff, would give me an idea of what I need to do. But obviously you know no more then me. Thanks for your help"

i will no longer go to this vet.

My mom also said last night, that part of his belly issue, is the worms for one, and then also I let him eat a good bit more food then he needs, since GIna and him share a food bowl. And she said the fact that he drinks alot,m makes his dry food expand in his belly and that is probably a good part of his bloating.

i dunno tho

Feed him seperately and feed him up to 3x a day, only about 1/2 cup MEAURE THIS at a time! His tiny tummy needs less food but more often. Don't leave food down for him to free feed. Your mom sure could be right! It will also give puppies diarrhea to over eat.
